Rumor: Ronaldo buys a unique Ferrari Monza after Ibrahimović

Scuderia Ferrari has shared a photo with Cristiano Ronaldo standing next to a Formula one racer, accompanied racecar drivers Carlos Seins Jr. and Charles LeClerc. Reports are saying the football start paid a visit to the Maranello HQ in order to buy a Ferrari Monza SP2.

Sources claim that Ronaldo visited the supercar assembly site and met John Elkann in person. It is not specified whether he ordered a custom Monza or bought a stock one.

Ferrari unveiled its Monza spyder three years ago, offering it in two variants. According to rumors, Ronaldo picked a two-seat SP2 version There is also the SP1, which is a one-seater with its right side covered with a carbon deflector. Both are limited to 500 total units.

From the technical perspective, the model uses 812 Superfast underpinnings, including its 6.5-liter V12 rated at 810 PS (800 hp / 596 kW) and seven-speed semi-auto transmission. Prices started from $3,000,000 back when it debuted.

In a related news, another football star – Zlatan Ibrahimović – purchased a Monza last February. However, according to reports, Ronaldo picked a red car, while Ibrahimović settled for a black one (see video).
