Ford ceased offering the Focus and its ST variant in the United Stated a few years ago, choosing to prioritize SUVs and pickup trucks instead. However, the model still lives on in Europe, where a new ‘ST Edition’ is underway to the showrooms now.
Compared to a standard ST spec, the Edition features an exclusive blue exterior with gloss-black accents and lightweight 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Another major upgrade can be found in the suspension department. According to the manufacturer, the Focus ST Edition for Europe rides on KW coil-over springs tested on the North Loop. As a result, it runs 10 mm (0.2”) lower than stock, but you can raise or lower it by a further 20 mm (0.8”) on both axles when needed.
To this end, Ford will be selling the car with a manual on how to adjust your suspension for the various use case scenarios, including track days. Powered by an ICE engine rated at 284 PS (280 hp / 209 kW), the new Focus needs 5.7 seconds to get from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).
