Ford Mustang Hoonicorn gets a Lego replica

Lachlan Cameron, a Lego enthusiast, has completed assembling his toy-brick copy of Ken Block’s Ford Mustang Hoonicorn. He only used standard Lego parts for the model. The car can be controlled remotely and features a 4WD system along with a transmission that actually shifts gears.

According to Cameron, copies like this usually take one to three months to produce. In this particular case, he needed some extra time to detail the undercarriage, making sure it comes out as realistic as possible.

The Lego brick car has faux engine pistons that move, a gear stick, and an openable hood cover. You may control it using your smartphone.

The real Ford Mustang Hoonicorn owned by Ken Block packs a 6.7-liter racing-spec engine rated at 1,400 horsepower (1,044 kW). The engineer teams of ASD Motorsports and RTR joined their efforts to build the unique vehicle.
