The latest video by Carwow doesn’t feature any supercars or even maxed-out sports cars – it brings together a quartet of the least powerful urban rides Matt Watson could find in the UK. There is a Kia Picanto, a Citroen Ami, a Suzuki Jimny and a Toyota Aygo X.
The battery-powered Citroen is the weakest of the bunch with 8 horsepower and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal. On the upside, it weighs just 471 kilos (1,038 pounds).
The Jimny is the only four-cylinder participant. It is also the strongest of the bunch with 101 PS (100 hp / 75 kW) and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) of torque at its disposal. A five-speed manual transmission drives the wheels. On the downside, it is the heaviest of the bunch at 1,100 kilos (2,425 pounds).
The Kia Picanto and the Toyota Aygo both rely on three-cylinder motors. The Kia gets 67 PS (66 hp / 49 kW) and 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) of torque out of its mill, while the Toyota gets 72 PS (71 hp / 53 kW) and 93 Nm (69 lb-ft).
