Novitec’s latest Lambo Revuelto draws upon an MV from the ‘90s

The tuning gurus over at Novitec have come up with a rather unexpected, yet expressive styling package for the Lamborghini Revuelto, making it look like the iconic Diablo SE 30 from Jamiroquai’s Cosmic Girl music clip dating back to 1996.

If you look at the two supercars side-by-side in the gallery above, you’ll see just how much they have in common. The Revuelto rocks a gorgeous exposed-fiber aero kit atop a purple body, which the company says can be color-matched if necessary. It comprises a front splitter, headlight bezels, a rather elaborate and muscular-looking hood, athletic sides and a bulky rear diffuser. The rear wing stays stock, but a small lip spoiler accompanying it is said to generate extra downforce. Last but not least, an airbox sitting on the engine lid helps with the cooling, Novitec says.

A peek into the wheel arches reveals 21-inch Vossen wheels at the front and 22-inch ones at the rear axle. Customers are choosing from three designs and as many as 72 finishes. The suspension sits lower by a whole inch (25 mm), and the exhaust system is new, too. Although the base option is made from stainless steel, the premium option benefits from extremely heat-resistant Inconel pipes and 999-fine gold plated finishers for optimum heat dissipation. Novitec claims that the new exhaust components alone add 33 PS (33 hp / 24 kW) to the output. Other minor tweaks raise the output of the hybrid supercar to 1,048 PS (1,034 hp / 771 kW).
