Lancia makes a rally comeback with a €74.5k car

Lancia was serious when it said this spring that it planned a return to the rally sports.

The company has now opened its preorder books for the Ypsilon Rally4 HF, a dedicated rally racer armed with a 1.2-liter turbo three pot sending 212 PS (209 hp / 156 kW) to the front wheels. The transmission is five-speed sequential and features a diff lock. The asking price is €74,500.

In 2025, these cars will participate in the Italian Rally Championship. In 2026, they will join the European championship as well.

Those who would like to get a car like this for the road should take a look at the just-announced Ypsilon HF. Unlike its rally cousin, this car is all-electric with 240 PS (237 hp / 177 kW) to spare. It sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.8 seconds.
