2024 Lincoln Aviator nabbed running around sans camo

The Lincoln Aviator, which came out nearly five years ago, is finally getting ready for its first mid-generation refresh. Judging by these photos provided by Motor1, the SUV is nearing production: notice the lack of camouflage.

The less-boxy front end looks like the biggest change from the original exterior design. The radiator grille is rounded, too, and sports a different ornament. The main headlamps are slimmer than before, while the DRLs overlap with the grille and are combined with the main lights. The bumper has also been completely redone.

Novelty is scarce at the rear end, where only the taillights and the lower front bumper are any different. Dual exhaust finishers still reside at the sides.

Interior spy shots remain to be made. Motor1 believes the Aviator will get a cabin similar to that of the entry-level Nautilus spec unveiled in the USA and China this spring. That one debuted with a giant display spanning nearly the entire dashboard width and an 11.1-inch center console screen.

It is also unknown whether anything will change in the powertrain department. Right now, Aviator buyers have two options: a 3.0-liter V6 TT and a hybrid based on the same engine.
