A 1995 McLaren F1 supercar, one out of only 64 street-legal examples made, will go up on auction sale in the USA in mid-May. Purchased by its current owner in 2021, it has 410 km (255 miles) on the odometer.
The car with the chassis number 029 wears a Creighton Brown paint coat named so after one of the British company’s original founders. It is believed to have been a unique commission for a customer in Japan. It currently resides in the United States and retains its original 6.1-liter engine rated at 627 PS (618 hp / 461 kW).
Three years ago, this very car went up on sale and fetched U.S. $20,465,000, an all-time high for the F1 model. The listing mentions a package of OEM accessories included in the sale.
