Brabus 800 SUV Coupe breaks cover with 800 PS, 1000 Nm, 3.4 s sprint time

The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S 4MATIC+ Coupe goes from standstill to full tilt faster than you can say its name, but someone at Brabus thought it was not fast enough.

The tuner enchants the stock four-liter twin-turbo V8 with extra 188 PS (185 hp / 138 kW) and 150 Nm (110 lb-ft) of torque for a grand total of 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft).

Bolstered like this, the off-roader goes 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and does not hit its speed ceiling until 280 km/h (174 mph). The numbers sound even more impressive once you consider that it weighs 2.3 metric tons, or around 5,100 lbs.

Customers can order an active-valve exhaust system adjustable at a push of a button. Exterior upgrades include BRABUS Monoblock forged wheels available with Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama tires, and a full body kit. The tuner says the suspension strikes the golden middle between sports and comfort.
