This 2010 Nissan GT-R vagabond will set you back more than a new GT-R

If the Porsche 911 Safari and the Lamborghini Sterrato are any indication, cross-country-capable sports cars do represent an important niche in the market – if not necessarily a big one. But would you buy a 15-year-old, homegrown Nissan GT-R off-roader for more than a well-kept stock example? The owner of the car depicted here sure seems to believe as much.

The Godzilla in question costs an eye-watering $99,500. It wears bolt-on fender flares, roof rails with a spare wheel attached, and auxiliary LED lighting all around. The wheels are standard, but the all-terrain tires are not. Perhaps most noticeably, the suspension sits 120 mm (4.7 inches) higher than usual, allowing for some decent off-roading.

As most aftermarket GT-R models, this one doesn’t run a stock engine, either. The 3.8-liter V6 pumps out around 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) thanks to tuning, the owner claims. The mileage is also not too bad at less than 55,000 km (33,700 miles) spread over the past 15 years.

The build is currently listed on the Prins dealership website in the Netherlands. Would you say it’s worth one hundred thousand euros?
