Porsche has unveiled the one and only 911 model customized to resemble Sally Carrera, a character from animated movie Cars. The replica will go on sale at RM Sotheby’s later this week.
Building a painstakingly precise copy was not the point. The company says it just wanted to take a modern 992-gen 911 and dress it up like Sally. The work took ten months to complete. Aside from a special livery mimicking that of the movie car, the unique Carrera has a ‘tattoo’ under its rear spoiler and special badges all around.
The winning bidder will be getting the car along with a Porsche wristwatch and an extra set of wheels.
