Porsche has unveiled a new top spec of its Cayenne SUV. Called Turbo E-Hybrid, it hits the wheels with a combined 739 PS (729 hp / 544 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) of torque. You can already pre-order it in SUV and coupe-like SUV flavors starting from €176,324.
The car utilizes a 4.0-liter V8 with 599 PS (591 hp / 441 kW) alongside a 176-PS (174-hp / 129-kW) electric motor connected to a 25.9-kWh battery.
The Cayenne GT Coupe can sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.6 seconds and maxes out at 305 km/h (189.5 mph). It also offers up to 82 km (51 miles) of all-electric range. The specifications of all other versions remain to be announced.
By default, the E-Hybrid has torque vectoring control and air suspension. Rear-wheel steering is a paid option. The GT package mentioned above is only available for the Cayenne Coupe and includes black exterior accents, titanium exhaust finishers, a carbon-fiber roof, a 10mm (0.4-inch) reduction in ride height, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
