A one-off Saleen S7 LM goes up on sale for $0.5M+

This 13-year-old Saleen S7 LM has mere 158 miles (255 kilometers) on the counter, underwent a factory overhaul a couple of years ago, and is now up for grabs at an auction.

Among other things, the Le Mans Edition boasts enhanced aerodynamics, an electronic dashboard, and an up-to-date infotainment system. Its twin-turbocharged V8 churns out 1,000 hp (745 kW) along with 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) with a six-speed manual gearbox.

The Saleen S7 LM used to cost U.S. $1,000,000 when new, and the current top bid for this particular example is $500,000. With the auction ending on November 27, chances are good that the price will rise still higher.

The original S7 retired back in the 2000s, but Saleen decided to revive the LM Edition in just seven new cars, dedicating each one to its past motorsport victories.
