EV owners vote Tesla Best EV in the USA

J.D. Power has conducted a study among 9.632 electric and part-electric car drivers to figure out where the affinities lie in this as of yet underexplored market segment. You may be surprised to hear the results!

The agency polled owners for their satisfaction with the driving range, build quality, convenience and availability of charging, and overall driving experience. With all the criticism of Tesla cars one can encounter online, it can strike you as unexpected that the four Teslas – the S. the 3, the X and the Y – dominated the ranking.

Audi e-tron and Jaguar I-Pace came close after those, and the Kia Niro EV ranked best in the affordable EV segment. The ranking then proceeded to mention Chevrolet Bolt, Hyundai Kona EV, Nissan Leaf and Volkswagen e-Golf in that order.

Of those who purchased an electric vehicle for the first time in their life, 82% of respondents said they would buy another.
