Next-gen Toyota 4Runner teased for the first time

The Toyota 4Runner is quite the old-timer by the American market standards, but it looks like the next generation is finally coming now.

The automaker has posted a single teaser pic showing a part of the rear end. It didn’t specify any details, but it looks like the new off-roader might share the platform with the latest Tacoma pickup.

The images 2–5 and the video here show the current generation for the sake of reference and comparison.

The media seem to believe that Toyota will unveil the new 4Runner in a few weeks.
