Video: 2020 Toyota Supra cranks volume up to 11

The footage shows an A90 Toyota Supra retrofitted with a top-end Frequency Intelligent Exhaust (FI Exhaust) system. The unit went on sale last year, but we haven’t really heard it in action until now.

The 2020MY Supra comes equipped with a three-liter, inline-six BMW turbo. Even in its stock form, the mill is quite vocal, pumping out 98 decibels of sheer superiority. However, adding the FI wide catless downpipes, valve-controlled muffler and carbon-fiber tips raises the volume to 119 dB. Open the valves, and you’re about to get hit with 131 dB, which is comparable to standing right next to an operating jackhammer.
