Hennessey Performance has filmed a short but impressive video dedicated to its Ram 1500 RHO tuning package called Mammoth 700. As you can see, the truck is in no way inferior to the old TRX spec with two extra cylinders.
The RHO comes with a turbocharged six-pot producing 548 PS (541 hp / 403 kW). New turbos, a sports exhaust system and other modifications persuade it to output 710 PS (700 hp / 522 kW) – slightly more than the TRX manages to extract from its heavier 6.2-liter V8.
Never one to look tame, the Ram pickup looks especially badass in the tuner’s custom body kit. It includes two aprons and some auxiliary lighting for off-road trips in poor visibility conditions. Serving the same purpose are 20-inch wheels shod in 37-inch off-road tires and Bilstein shock absorbers with remote reservoirs. Best of all, the company claims the tuning doesn’t disrupt the operation of any systems on board – everything functions as it is supposed to.
