Geely-owned car brand Zeekr is getting ready to release its fourth production car: a sedan provisionally called ‘CS1e’. It was first spied testing in China this spring, and now, a new batch of photos has been made allowing us a closer look at its shapes and proportions.
The car will be joining the company of three other Zeekr vehicles in production: the 001 liftback, the 009 van and the X SUV. It is said to be the company’s first model to be based on an all-new electric vehicle platform known as PMA2+. However, it is actually just another modification of the SEA chassis that all Zeekr cars and some other Geelys are based upon. The company promises us 800-volt power on board.
The rest of the parameters remain unannounced. The car has frameless doors and what looks like two electric motors giving it all-wheel-drive capabilities. Once out, it will mainly compete against the BYD Seal. The latter is 4.8 meters (15.75 feet) long, and the former should be comparable in size.
The sedan will officially debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show at the end of the year.
