This pink Audi R8 calls Malaysia its home

Although the range-topping Audi R8 shares a number of parts with Lamborghini supercars, it doesn’t exactly look as showy as its Italian relative. Dissatisfied with this, an owner from Malaysia set about bringing it closer in style to the Lambo.

A local tuning shop named Puzzle Bodykits came up with a new bodywork concept for the project. The glass all around, the doors, the side mirrors and the fuel tank cap are perhaps the only things that stayed stock – everything else, including not just the body kit but also most of the panels, has been replaced. The biggest highlights at the front are a bumper with enlarged intakes, extended headlights and a pronounced splitter.

A side view reveals new vented fenders at the rear end and non-OEM wheels finished in white. The rear section is perhaps the most interesting because it goes out of its way to evoke associations with Lambo cars. The raised tailpipes grouped in the middle resemble those of the Huracan STO, the rear wing has Technica vibes, and the rear diffuser is something that would not look out of place on a Sian.

Rounding off the styling attempt is a shrill pink exterior paint – we are told that the owner opted for a respray instead of a paintover. The black accents were given imitation-carbon treatment, while the 430-PS (424 hp / 316 kW) eight-banger under the hood was allowed to stay stock.
