BMW reveals M Performance parts for the 2-Series

After unveiling the new 2-Series in early July, BMW started producing the cars this week. Now, the company revealed a range of OEM accessories made for it by the M subdivision.

The carbon-fiber package includes a radiator grille, a front splitter, a rear spoiler, winglets, side mirror caps, red brake calipers, and wheels coming in three designs to choose from. Customers can also decorate their 2-Series with M stripes and opt for various carbon-fiber details in the cabin.

The current lineup remains topped by the M240i xDrive, which packs a 3.0-liter inline-six engine rated at 374 PS (369 hp / 275 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The car needs 4.3 seconds to zap from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).

It is reported that the next-gen BMW M2 will only come to the market in mid-2022.
