The last Bugatti Veyron Super Sport goes on sale once again

The Bugatti Veyron is exotic enough as it is, and the Veyron Super Sport limited to 48 units is ultra-rare by all standards. One such example – the last one to roll off the lines – is currently up for grabs at Tom Hartley JNR in the United Kingdom.

The car with the chassis no. 48 first went up on sale in 2018, but it remains unclear whether it was sold or not. If we had to guess, we would say the car presents a certain collector’s value thanks to having been the fastest production vehicle at the time of manufacture. It hit a record 267.856 miles per hour (431.072 km/h) in a straight line, and stayed at the top until the Chiron Sport dethroned it with 304.773 mph (490.484 km/h). Even so, the Chiron was only tested superficially – once in one direction, while the Veyron made two runs, and its recorded top speed was calculated as the average between those two runs.

The example on sale has virtually no mileage under its hood at 1,253 miles (2,016 km). Along with the supercar, the winning bidder gets a new tire set and an extended manufacturer’s warranty valid through 2022.
