As we reported yesterday, Hennessey Performance obtained a Ford F-150 Raptor for a series of tests and some high-end engine tuning. Now, prices and shipping terms have been announced.
Buying a finished Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 will set you back U.S. $85,950. Pre-ordering is already available, and you may get your truck at the beginning of 2022 if you act quickly enough.
Modifying your existing F-150 Raptor is also possible for $19,950. The mods include enhanced air intake components, a high-performance intercooler, and an ECU tune. The gain amounts to 152 PS (150 hp / 112 kW) and 151 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque, bringing the total to 608 PS (600 hp / 447 kW) and 843 Nm (622 lb-ft).
Outfitted like this, the pickup needs 4.2 seconds for its standard sprint – 1.1 s less than stock. It also finishes a quarter-mile run in just 12.9 seconds.
Should you need to drive it away from asphalt, $17,950 buys you an option package including a new front bumper with integrated LED lights, a redesigned rear bumper, 20-inch wheels shod in 35-inch all-terrain rubber, and a 76mm (3-inch) suspension lift.
Hennessey plans to churn out up to 250 such pickups per year and hopes that the demand will be record high.
