Rare Saleen Mustang SN-95 hits the block

Saleen has produced a total of 943 track-focused Mustang SN-95 models, and this example currently offered for sale was number 43 out of 242 made back in the year 2002.

Starting from the exterior, a rear wing, extra air vents in the sides and a grey body finish are the main highlights. 20-inch, black Verde wheels fill out the arches – perhaps an overkill for a racer that needs to corner efficiently, but there is no denying the larger diameter looks cool.

Open the door, and you will be looking at typical, cheap-looking plastic décor of a Mustang from the early 2000s. The Saleen dashboard with its stylish round gauges redeems things somewhat, though.

Power comes from a supercharged gasoline V8 with 4.6 liters of displacement at its disposal and around 500 horsepower (373 kilowatts).

The car is said to be in ‘as-new’ condition and is expected to fetch more than $50,000.
