Ford Tourneo Custom spawns a battery version for Europe

The new Ford Tourneo lineup arrives in Europe in diesel, hybrid and all-electric flavors. The first deliveries are only set to begin in mid-2023, but here are all the main specs.

The E-Tourneo comes powered by a large 74-kWh traction battery granting it 370 km (230 miles) of range. The electric motor makes 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW).

According to the manufacturer, refilling the charge at a sufficiently powerful charging station from 15% to 80% takes 41 minute. Plugging in for just five minutes will still give you enough juice for 38 km (23.5 miles) of driving. A feature called Pro Power Onboard enables using the electric van as a power source for external appliances, tools and equipment.

If Tourneo PHEV is what you are more interested in, you will appreciate to know that it comes with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine in Europe assisted by an electric motor and an 11.8-kWh battery. Its all-electric range averages 50 km, or 31 miles.

As for the diesels, there will be a few options available ranging from 138 to 168 PS (136–166 hp; 101–124 kW, respectively).
