Foton Tunland F9 debuts with numerous enhancements

Chinese carmaker Foton has unveiled the facelifted (F9) version of its Tunland pickup truck. The scope of changes is extensive this time around.

The F9 Foton Tunland comes based on a stronger framework and softer suspension. Customers may choose from two available trim versions: standard (mesh grille and 16-inch wheels) and extended (larger grille with the company name spelled out on it in letters, 18-inch wheels, and LED-based low-beam headlights and DRLs).

The cabin is also fairly new. There is an advanced infotainment system with a 10.25-inch touch-enabled display, a gear selector knob, a large color dashboard display, electric front seats, leather finish, and a 360-degree camera system.

The model is available with a 2.0-liter gas turbo engine rated at 238 hp (175 kW) and a diesel turbo with 163 hp (122 kW). Only manual transmission is listed in stock now, but the company says automatic will become available later.
