Reports: General Motors to assist Hyundai with body-on-frame vehicles

Hyundai and General Motors struck an agreement earlier this fall that saw the two automakers joining forces in the development of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles with all kinds of powertrains.

The media are now reporting from South Korea that Hyundai actually wanted GM to assist it with the development of frame-based SUVs and pickup trucks for the American market.

The company never publicly announced it, but it looks like we may see a Hyundai-badged Chevrolet Tahoe or Silverado someday.
