Hyundai is planning to expand its Creta CUV lineup with an all-electric version set to arrive in 2025 along with the next facelift, Autocar India reports. The first prototypes are already running road tests.
In all likelihood, the Creta EV will look different from its ICE sibling. The headlights will likely be redesigned and the radiator grille will probably make room for a solid panel.
A new infotainment system is expected in the cabin, and the transmission selector may move from the tunnel to the steering wheel – these are the most logical novelties to expect.
As for the gas-powered Creta, it should get a mild facelift in 2025 as well as a new turbo engine rated at 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW).
