JAC Define-X previews the company’s next SUV

JAC plans to add a new three-row SUV to its lineup based on the concept seen here, the Define-X.

It’s said to be fully electric and all-wheel-drive by design. The two motors produce a combined 500 PS (493 hp / 368 kW) along with 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Outfitted like this, the crossover goes from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in four seconds flat.
The battery pack on board delivers over 600 km (372 miles) of WLTP range per charge, JAC claims. It also recharges quickly thanks to 800-volt internals.

Other noteworthy features include four-wheel steering (4WS) with the rear wheels turning up to 12 degrees, and a special driving mode for going sideways.
