Lexus teases a mysterious ‘Electrified’ study

In its latest teaser video, Lexus talks about its EV-focused strategy called Electrified and makes a passing mention of a new concept vehicle.

According to the chief designer of the luxury Japanese marque, the design study will preview what future Lexus cars will look like when it debuts in the first quarter of 2021.The teaser video briefly shows its front fascia.

The marque began its way to electrification last fall with the premiere of the LF-30 Concept (see the gallery) at the Tokyo Motor Show. Right now, the company is working on a new AWD system for its hybrids and pure EVs called the Direct4, which should ensure optimum per-wheel torque vectoring at all times.
