U.S.-based Lucid Group has revealed its statistics regarding the production and the deliveries of its Air EV. In Q3 2022, the company managed to triple the production volume from 700 units to 2,282, hitting a new absolute high, InsideEVs reports.
Not only that, but Lucid has also managed to sell 1,398 sedans from July until September. A total of 2,437 cars has been shipped since the beginning of 2022 so far, with the startup company now on track to exceed 2,500.
These are all preliminary figures right now. The company will publish a full-fledged financial report for the past quarter on November 8, 2022. It shouldn’t deviate too much from the figures quoted, though.
Lucid announced the range-topping Air Sapphire a couple of months ago. The luxury electric saloon comes equipped with a trio of electric motor and can reach 60 mph (96.6 km/h) in two seconds flat. The production is posed to start in the first half of 2023, and prices are expected to begin from U.S. $249,000.
