Lynk & Co 10 EM-P shows up without camo

Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has posted the first photos of its upcoming hybrid vehicle, the 10 EM-P. It is scheduled for domestic launch in Q3 2025.

Th demo example seen here wears a new paint coat known as “Gilded Gold”. It’s actually a goldish-green shade mixed with microscopic aluminum flakes for a rich metallic shine. One of the image reveals what looks like a raised active spoiler.

Rather than being a standalone model, the 10 EM-P is a close relative of the all-electric Z10 sedan that debuted in 2024, becoming the brand’s first BEV in the portfolio. The newcomer packs a hybrid powertrain, but otherwise looks almost the same as the Z10. The front bumper has been slightly modified, and that seems like the biggest change.

For the powertrain, Lynk & Co promises us two e-motors driving one axle each. In most situations, the car will make do with just the front driven axle, but the rear motor will spring to life in 1/100th of a second when necessary, for example, when the front wheels skid for whatever reason.

All other details remain to be formally announced. From China’s patent database, we know that the car is 5,050 mm long, 1,966 mm wide and 1,487 mm tall with 3,005 mm of wheelbase. As such, it is slightly longer and taller than the Z10, but less than an inch (25 mm) in both dimensions. For the wheels, the patent listing mentioned 19-inch and 21-inch options.

The patented version of the vehicle is a plug-in hybrid. It features a 1.5-liter engine with 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) and a high thermal efficiency of 46.1%. Dual e-motors assist the engine for a total of 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 755 Nm (557 lb-ft) of torque.

Buyers will be choosing from at least two LFP battery packs. The 18.4-kWh one will deliver up to 100 km (62 miles) of all-electric range and the bigger 38.2-kWh pack will supply enough electricity for 192 km (113 miles). In hybrid mode, the average fuel consumption will be close to 5.37 liters per 100 kilometers, or 43.8 miles per U.S. gallon.

Earlier announcements mentioned air-ride suspension and a self-driving system based on Nvidia Drive Thor hardware under options.
