Check out a powerboat with Mercedes-AMG looks

Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing have a history of cooperation spanning many years, and their custom speedboat projects manage to be opulent and exclusive every time. This Cigarette 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series is no exception.

The vessel has been painstakingly stylized to resemble the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. To that end, it received a rare orange finish with black accents reminiscent of volcanic rocks in lava streams.

Both vehicles come powered by racing-grade engines, but while the supercar has one, the motorboat has five, rated at 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW) each. The cumulative output thus amounts to 2,250 PS (2,219 hp / 1,655 kW).

Carbon fiber is used extensively in the body and deck paneling, resulting in a very lightweight powerboat that accelerates fast and is easy to steer. The top speed lies at 145 km/h (90 miles per hour), which is very impressive for a boat designed for ten passengers.

Driving the Cigarette 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series is made easy thanks to a round steering wheel and enormous touch-sensitive displays lending themselves to various uses. The seats and the benches on board are wrapped in a special trim material said to be completely resistant to the sun heat.
