Zacoe redefines modern BMW M2 with a styling upgrade

Bring-a-Trailer tried to sell this rare, low-mileage, well-equipped Porsche 911 S/T earlier this week, but the owner declined the top bid of $726,000. When these cars were still available through dealerships in the United States, they started around $290,000, which is a fraction of the amount someone offered for this example.
The 911 S/T was introduced in the summer of 2023 (see video). It was advertised as a special edition for the ultimate driving purists. It was essentially a 911 GT3 with a manual transmission and a lightweight body construction. Every example received a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated engine rated at 525 PS (518 hp / 386 kW). Only 1,963 units were made.
This particular car was 1,042nd to leave the assembly line. It went to an owner in Canada who had it optioned with the Heritage Design package worth 23,200 CAD. They also opted for a Bose audio system (1,800 CAD) and a Racing Green livery (23,900 CAD). The total amounted to 325,900 CAD, which corresponds to 291,600 USD. With slightly over 1,200 km (750 miles) on the odometer since new, the auctioned car was in good condition but still not exactly brand-new.
If we had to guess, we’d say the owner must have been a bit too eager to see the price climb ever higher. It’s easy to imagine something like that happening while bidding for an iconic car, like this Porsche. Commenters on Bring-a-Trailer also broadly agreed that this 911 S/T would go on sale again before long. The real question is whether it manages to attract nearly as good a bid as the last time.
