A front-engined 1991 Porsche 928 S4 optioned with the XX8 Pack (see video) will go under the hammer next month, believed to be one out of only 79 such cars in existence. There are no price estimations so far.
The XX8 kit included a body kit inspired by the superior 928 GTS model, including flared wheel arches, and an opulent cabin trim. This specific car wears light grey leather with deep blue accents matching the body.
When it just debuted, the sports car had a 4.5-liter engine, but this is a more recent modification packing a 5.0-liter V8 rated at 320 PS (316 hp / 235 kW).
A customer from Japan originally ordered this car, so the manual that comes with it is in Japanese. It was later brought back to Frankfurt, Germany, where it was maintained by a team specializing in exotic Porsches in 2015–2022. It was there that it ended a with a modern multimedia system styled after a vintage car radio.
The mileage is listed as 133,700 kilometers, which translates into 83,077 miles.
