Rezvani switches attention to Porsche retromods

California-based tuning company Rezvani, so far mostly known for its ambitious supercars and over-the-top armor-clad SUVs, has decided to try something new with the latest Porsche 911 (992). The result is a stylish duo of cars inspired by the iconic 935.

Tuned engine stands front and center on the list of modifications. The model RR1 600 comes equipped with a 3.0-liter flat-six mill upgraded with larger turbos and other performance components. It outputs its titular 600 hp (609 PS / 447 kW) and sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds flat.

Then there’s the RR1 750, which is based off the (992) Turbo S with 3.8 liters of displacement. It sends 750 hp (760 PS / 560 kW) to the wheels and needs barely more than two seconds for the sprint. Drivers with track days in mind may opt for flexibly adjustable coilover-based Öhlins TTX-Pro suspension.

Only 50 such vehicles will be made, each taking around four months to ship. Prices start from $195,000 for the conversion alone, meaning you still have to supply your own Porsche. As for the options, centerlock wheels alone add $12,500 to the total. Brembo brakes cost about the same, and a full suspension kit comes in at $8,500.
