Toyota has launched two new trim versions of its Crown sedan/saloon: S Sport Style and S Four Sport Style. Let us see what these are all about.
Both come with darkened headlights and taillights, new wheels available in 17 and 18 inches, a black radiator grille, and new headlight bezels. The available paints include white, black, red, grey, and blue.
The cabin is mostly dark with red accents for contrast. The default finish involves cloth upholstery and imitation leather, but you may opt for the more expensive natural leather.
In technical terms, both the Toyota Crown S Sport Style and the S Four Sport Style are identical to their standard counterparts featured in the video here. This means both come equipped with either a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine or a hybrid powertrain that includes a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated mill and an electric motor. The former configuration is good for 245 hp (183 kW), while the latter outputs 226 hp (169 kW) to the wheels.
Prices in Japan start from 5,073,200 Yen (approx. $47,470 USD).
