2025 Skoda Octavia production starts in a new location

Skoda is now assembling its Octavia lineup in Kvasiny, Czechia in addition to the main factory in Mladá Boleslav.

The same factory is making the latest Karoq and Kodiaq SUVs. The old-gen Superb also used to be made in Kvasiny, but the latest generation moved to Slovakia.

This move is essentially a part of Skoda’s plan to free its main industrial complex in Mladá Boleslav for electric car manufacturing. In a few years, it is scheduled to mass-produce EVs like the Enyaq and the Elroq, while the production of all ICE cars will be gradually transferred to Kvasiny.
