Meet Skoda Slavia, a custom Scala build celebrating 125 years of Skoda

Students of the Skoda Academy in the Czech Republic are currently working on turning a Scala family car into something unique and special to gift the car marque on its 125th birthday.

A century and a quarter ago, there was a company that produced Slavia-branded bicycles. Later on, it switched to motorcycles and ultimately found its calling in the automotive industry.

The roadster under development will be lacking doors and a roof. It will sport dual deflectors and a hexagonal exhaust pipe in the middle of the rear bumper.

Skoda Design Director Oliver Stefani personally guides the students through the project.

The vehicle will be finished before the end of July, the press release states.
