Stelato reveals S9T trims and estimated prices

Stelato, the premium carmaker founded between BAIC Group and Huawei, has shared some details about its first wagon – the S9T. The car is coming to the market with an impressive list of options ranging from a fridge to an extended ADAS package featuring four LiDARs, CarNewsChina reports.

Prices are expected to land within the area of 350,000–380,000 Yuan, although this isn’t official just yet. According to Sohu.com, the S9T will ship with two touchscreens including a passenger’s display, ultra-comfortable seats, power-assisted sun screens on the windows and a high-color ambient lighting system with 16 million hues to choose from.

To get info on its whereabouts, the car will reportedly utilize a 192-line LiDAR, three high-precision solid-state LiDARs and a handful of millimeter-range 4D radars. Other than that, it shares the platform with the S9 sedan and has the same exact body dimensions. This means it’s 5,160 mm long, 2,005 mm wide and 1,492 mm tall with 3,050 mm between the axles.

Ordering and full pricing will become available on Monday, August 18th. Showroom sales will follow in September.

The powertrain details aren’t officially announced yet, but they were revealed during the certification in June. The S9T is coming to us in all-electric and hybrid flavors. The hybrid gets a 160-PS (158-hp / 118-kW) engine acting as a range extender and a 309-PS (305 hp / 227-kW) motor driving the rear axle. Batteries come in two sizes – 37 and 53.4 kWh. Once full, the hybrid has over 1,300 km (807 miles) of manufacturer-estimated range.

The EV lineup consists of two versions. The RWD version uses the same 309-PS motor as mentioned above, while the AWD one adds a 215-PS (212-hp / 158-kW) motor at the front. A CATL-supplied battery stores up to 100 kWh of power and yields over 800 km (500 miles) of range, once again OEM-rated.
