Volkswagen has complemented its ID.Buzz electric minivan lineup with a new entry-level spec for passenger transportation and a high-end spec for commercial uses.
Those looking for an electric shuttle bus may now purchase the ID.Buzz with a smaller battery (59 kWh, down from 79) and a less powerful rear-axle motor (170 PS, down from 204). The good news is that this version starts from a comparatively low €50,000 in Europe.
In turn, the ID.Buzz Cargo can now be obtained with two e-motors driving all four wheels with 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW) from a 79-kWh battery pack. This version corresponds to the passenger-hauling ID.Buzz GTX, but benefits from softer chassis settings. It starts from €50,400.
