The world of automobile tuning is vast and rich in extravagant and bizarre projects, but HERO by DragonTT still stands out with its otherworldly styling. An Audi TT at heart, it wears an extreme body kit and runs on a hybrid petrol/LPG powertrain.
First things first, though. As you can see, the Ingolstadt classic looks more like a spaceship than a street-legal vehicle. It is street-legal, though, and features all-new racing suspension alongside a pair of cool pop-up doors. The entire bodywork is fabricated from glass-fiber reinforced plastic, but the best news is that it’s not even a one-off build. DragonTT will sell you another such car and dress it out in carbon fiber if you want it, too.
Once installed, the styling pack makes the RR 4,710 mm (184 inches) long and 2,154 mm (84.2 inches) wide with 2,505 mm (97.85 inches) of wheelbase. It weighs 1,515 kg (3,340 lbs) maxed out, but only 1,335 kg (2,943 lbs) with most of the fluff removed.
The company doesn’t go into detail regarding the powertrain, but says that Audi TT models rated at 200, 260, 272 and 340 horsepower in Europe are all being accepted for the conversion. The racing suspension mentioned above should translate into improved performance and handling in any case.
You can already contact the company for ordering details. The pricing isn’t public.
