Bugatti has teamed up with watchmaking company Jacob & Co to produce an exclusive chronograph themed after the Tourbillon hypercar revealed earlier this week.
As you may have heard already, the tourbillon is a mechanical part found in some watches. It is also French for “Whirlwind”, which explains the name choice for the car. With a name like this, it was only a matter of time until someone produced a tourbillon watch inspired by the latest Bugatti – and the company decided to take the initiative.
The watch face is stylized after the dashboard of the car and even incorporates a miniature reproduction of its V16 engine. It is fully functional with a camshaft and 16 titanium pistons, and can spring into action for 20 seconds.
