2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing revealed at last

Cadillac facelifted the standard CT5 model in September last year and is now following up with its flagship variants – the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. Both sedans get the same scope of exterior and interior updates while keeping their engines intact. Production starts in summer.

Both models sport revised radiator grilles and bumpers looking much more aggressive than their standard counterparts. The Blackwing tops its body kit with an added front splitter and lower bumper air intakes. All modifications of the car ride on 19-inch wheels, but the Blackwing gets forged rims.

Inside, the scope of novelty aligns with what we have already seen in the normal CT5. There is a redesigned dashboard and an improved infotainment system plugged into a seamless 33-inch display. In its most basic trim, the new CT5-V gets SuperCruise autopilot, while the Blackwing additionally gets a telematics system that displays real-time data concerning engine performance, loads and tire temperature, among other things. It also collects driving data to let drivers analyze and improve their performance on the track.

The CT5-V comes powered by a 3.0-liter V6 rated at 365 PS (360 hp / 268 kW) and 548 Nm (404 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is ten-speed automatic and AWD is available as a paid option.

The CT5-V Blackwing offers a choice between 10AT and 6MT, but remains a strictly RWD car. Its 6.2-liter V8 pumps out a superior 677 PS (668 hp / 498 kW) along with 892 Nm (658 lb-ft) of torque. Adaptive suspension, Brembo brakes and an electronic self-locking differential are already included in all specs.
