2025 Cadillac Escalade unveiled with extensive upgrades

The fifth generation of the Cadillac Escalade has received another mid-life refresh since the launch in February 2020. Sales in the United States are scheduled to begin closer to the end of the year.

Starting with the exterior, the lighting all around is new and even the company logo is now backlit. The V-Series and Premium Luxury Platinum trims also boast some fancy grille backlight. The front bumper has been revised, and while the wheels usually come in the 22-inch size, you can opt for 24-inch rollers for the first time on record.

The exterior color palette has been extended with three new options called Aegean Stone (green), Deep Sea Metallic (blue) and Latte Metallic (light bronze). The beefier Escalade-V gets its traditional large air intakes in the middle of the front end, a rear diffuser and four exhaust tips. Power-assisted doors are available as a premium option.

A peek inside reveals a giant 55-inch display spanning nearly the entire width of the dashboard. It is divided in two sections: a 35-inch instrument panel and a 20-inch front passenger’s display, which is connected to video streaming services. A touch panel below is used to change HVAC settings and access other handy in-car features.

A package called Executive Second Row adds two 12.6-inch displays to the back row, two wireless phone chargers, mini-tables and deluxe massage seats with audio speakers in the headrests. For the audio system, buyers can choose from three options ranging from 19 to 40 speakers total. Last but not least, there are two new trim options on the list, both using a mix of leather, fabric and wood. The Escalade-V gets an updated carbon-fiber package.

All trim levels aside from the baseline Luxury trim benefit from Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension and a heads-up display included as standard. The Super Cruise suite is now standard for all trims without exceptions, but things stay the same under the hood.
