Gran Turismo 7 welcomes five new cars, including a unique Ferrari

The development team behind Gran Turismo 7 has rolled out the 1.27 patch adding five new cars to the game, notably including the all-virtual Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo Concept.

The first non-real Prancing Horse was announced in November with a single seat, an exterior inspired by the classic 330 P3 and 512 S models, and a hybrid system similar to that of the 499P endurance racer.

Another addition comes in the form of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, a hardcore track-focused variant of the standard GTA model. It boasts a sophisticated body kit and six-point safety harnesses while getting rid of the rear bench. A 2.9-liter V6 under the hood produces 540 PS (533 hp / 397 kW) – 30 PS (30 hp / 22 kW) more than the Giulia Quadrifoglio does.

The list goes on to mention the discontinued Bugatti Chiron hypercar, the entry-level Chevrolet Corvette C8 with a 6.2-liter V8 between the axles and a 1995 Toyota Celica GT-FOUR, a scandalous rally car from Japan. Back in its glory days, Toyota Team Europe illegally modified the turbocharger setup of the car to give it an unfair advantage. When the rally masters learned of it, they voided the results of the race and banned the team from participating for a year.
