The large and boxy Geely Galaxy Cruiser 700 is about to hit the spotlight in China soon, but in the meantime, the company has posted some images of its interior.
On the whole, the SUV looks remarkably in line with the last year’s Cruiser Concept (see video). The integrated digital dashboard seems slightly larger now, and it looks like the front passenger no longer gets an intricate cluster of displays, making do with a thin LED strip instead. It’s anyone’s guess what that strip is supposed to do and how it is supposed to come in handy, but let’s withhold our judgment until the reveal.
True to the original concept, the center console houses a massive gear lever surrounded by physical buttons. These are apparently used to control the head unit and the HVAC settings. The tunnel below accommodates a wireless charging pad and a couple of cup holders. The trim all around is mostly leather, by the look of it.
Geely has yet to reveal the dimensions of the Galaxy Cruiser 700. It’s already official that the SUV comes powered by an internal combustion engine acting as a generator and a trio of electric motors. The peak output to the wheels amounts to 1,128 PS (1,113 hp / 830 kW).
