Import Muscle has worked its engine-swapping magic on a petite Honda S2000 roadster, and the result is up for grabs in the United States right now. Aside from a massive 6.2-liter V8, the car boasts Öhlins suspension parts and other track-friendly mods.
The donor vehicle here dates back to the model year 2003 and normally disposes over a four-cylinder, 230-PS (227-hp / 169-kW) engine. Import Muscle removed that engine and put an LS3 V8 in its place that it borrowed from a 2012 Chevy Camaro. A new camshaft and six-speed manual transmission built by Tick Performance let the bulky new power unit send a healthy 500 PS (492 hp / 368 kW) to the rear wheels.
That’s not nearly all, though. The flywheel and the clutch are improved as well, the driveshaft is aluminum now, and Öhlins shock absorbers come with height-adjustable coil-overs at both ends. The brakes make use of StopTech discs and Project Mu pads, while an Invidia exhaust system lends the build an inimitable V8 soundtrack.
The whole thing is up for grabs on eBay for $30,000. Judging by the photos, the S200 needs some cosmetic repairs in multiple spots. There could be other issues, but the listing is light on details.
