Automaker Infiniti will participate in this year’s SEMA show with an extensively modified Q50 SUV dubbed ‘Red Sport 400’. The car makes use of Infiniti Performance parts and nothing besides, so the look can be freely reproduced by any Q50 owner at home.
The stock 3.0-liter V6 TT rated at 406 PS (400 hp / 299 kW) and 474 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque gets a modified intercooler and a new exhaust system with a richer sound and engraved tips. A larger coolant tank has also been installed.
The suspension has been rebuilt on aftermarket components and the brakes have received Infiniti Performance Street pads for better deceleration.
Compared to the stock Q50, the show car stands out thanks to a custom livery and 19-inch Nismo wheels. Inside, carbon-fiber applications on the steering wheel constitute the main novelty.
