At a motor show in Iran, automaker Iran Khodro (IKCO) has unveiled the Rira – a compact-sized crossover SUV designed based on the Peugeot 2008. Moving forward, the company intends to bring it to other markets as well.
The IKCO Rira is 4,434 mm (173.2”) long, 2,077 mm (81.1”) wide and 1,638 mm (64”) tall. It uses a 1.7-liter turbo engine to drive the front wheels with 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW) through a six-speed automatic transmission. There are no other engine, gearbox or drive options on the list.
The interior remains to be revealed. The company’s other production CUV, Ray, has a digital dash screen merged with the multimedia screen. We fully expect the Rira to follow suit.
