BMW X5 & X6 Vermillion Edition announced for the USA and Europe

BMW has introduced a new special edition called Vermillion for the X5 and X6 models sold in the United States and Europe.

You can tell it by the warm red accents outside and inside: the radiator grille with red bars, a Matte Frost Black exterior, an aerodynamic kit, red brake calipers, and larger 22-inch wheels.

The cabin makes use of genuine leather, Alcantara and wood inserts coated with what looks like black piano lacquer. Some elements boast a ‘crystal glass’ look, and the floor mats sport red hems. A plaque on the dash tells everyone in the car it’s not just some run-of-the-mill BMW.

Prices in North America will begin at $82,300, a premium of $20,000 over the standard xDrive40i spec it is based upon.
